I am writing to highly recommend Moe of NJ Design and Build for his exceptional work as a contractor. Moe and his team recently completed the construction of an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) in my backyard for my father, and the entire experience was nothing short of excellent.
From the outset, Moe impressed us with his professionalism, transparency, and deep knowledge of the construction process. He took the time to thoroughly understand our needs and offered valuable design insights, and helped us navigate every step of construction with patience and care.

The quality of workmanship delivered by NJ Design and Build was outstanding. The ADU was built with great attention to detail, on time, and within the agreed budget. Moe maintained consistent communication throughout the project and was always accessible when needed, ensuring we were informed and comfortable with all decisions being made. His crew was respectful and skilled, a true reflection of his leadership and standards.

What stood out most was Moe’s genuine care for our family's needs. He understood that this ADU was not just another project, but a home for my father, and he treated it with the same consideration and integrity he would for his own family.
I would not hesitate to work with Moe again and wholeheartedly recommend NJ Design and Build to anyone in need of a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy contractor. They truly deliver on their promise of quality and client satisfaction.

Thank you Moe and team for a job well done.

Sincerely,
Christina Johnson

We hired Najmna to build an ADU in our backyard and the experience exceeded expectations. They handled the permits, construction, and inspections seamlessly. What I appreciated most was their transparency—no hidden costs, just honest work. Our new ADU came out beautiful and added real value to our property.

Sorry for the long review but NJ design and build need to be recognized
All their employees are very kind and respectful let me start with Sajed ( very kind and reliable. She took care of all city permits with hassle free on my end. She is very knowledgeable and knows how to take care of all permits).Moe has a very kind and honest heart ( it’s very rare to find a contractor with this beautiful quality)
1. NJ Design and Build handled my detached ADU from design to permits. They made the process smooth and kept me updated the whole time. No surprises, just solid work.
2. They designed and permitted my ADU and knew exactly how to deal with the city. Everything stayed on track
3. Professional and easy to work with. They explained everything clearly, took care of the permits, and the finished ADU turned out great.
4. I didn’t know where to start with an ADU, but they handled it all plans, permits, and construction. Made the whole process much less stressful.
5. Great experience. They managed the permit headaches for me and kept the project moving

Best builder in San Diego. They helped me build 2 ADUs and I appreciate their persistence in finishing the job as fast as possible.

Engineering and permitting process was good and fairly seemless. Price was competitive and initial demolition was good as expected. Tile layer is skilled and professional. Some of finish carpenters, etc. we’re lacking experience and quality control as appeared to be a shortage ok skilled labor. Moe the GM was very responsive, flexible, and pleasant to work with.

It was nice to be able to have everything done by one company, from architect to construction.

Did a great job fixing what another contractor really messed up.
They are very professional and experts in what they do.
